Terms of Service
Last updated July 7, 2026
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using VerseFlame, you agree to these terms. If you’re setting up VerseFlame for your church, you confirm you’re allowed to do so on its behalf.
What VerseFlame is
VerseFlame is browser-based church-presentation software: voice-activated scripture, song lyrics, media, and output to your projector, livestream overlay, and stage displays — driven from one operator console.
Your free trial
Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start, and nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan.
Service availability
We work hard to keep VerseFlame running reliably, but at this stage we don’t offer a guaranteed uptime commitment. VerseFlame is designed so that a service already in progress isn’t interrupted by billing or account changes — but we can’t promise the service will always be available, and you should have a fallback for critical moments.
Your content and who owns it
Your church owns the content it puts into VerseFlame — your songs, plans, and media references. You’re responsible for having the rights to the lyrics and media you use, such as your church’s own CCLI or equivalent license. We keep each church’s content private to that church; we never pool or share one church’s copyrighted lyrics with another.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use VerseFlame for anything unlawful, don’t try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and don’t upload content you don’t have the rights to use.
Billing and taxes
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars. If your church claims tax-exempt status, you confirm that the status and registration number you provide are accurate and that you’re responsible for that attestation.
Cancellation and your data
You can cancel at any time. After an account lapses, we keep your data until you ask us to delete it — see the Privacy Policy for how to request deletion.
Disclaimers
VerseFlame is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. (This section in particular will be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.)
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the “last updated” date above when we do.
